Sports Complex
With hundreds of kids and young adults living at Mirasol, we realized the need provide amenities and services for this important and growing population of members.
We renovated a formerly-unused space into a state-of-the-art Sports Complex for members of all ages to enjoy. This wonderful amenity features a 2,400 square-foot recreational building, which provides a critical foundation for the ongoing expansion of programming for our community’s children and grandchildren. Included in the building is a multipurpose function space which is available for activities, events, and summer camps, along with a comfortable lounge with a television, video games, and a computer station.
Outside of the building is a green space for sports and other activities that is equipped with functional and hearty synthetic turf that does not require the application of pesticides or other chemicals.
Other fun features of the Sports Complex include a regulation-size basketball court, a fully-equipped playground with a forgiving “fall zone” surface, a gazebo, bocce, and pickleball courts.
Camp Mirasol
Our kids crave fun and excitement when school is out, and we are pleased to present Camp Mirasol for their enjoyment!
Camp Mirasol is our popular kids’ camp program, and we present several camps each year. Kids ages 4-12 are invited to join us at our school vacation camps that we present in addition to our activities offered at the Sports Complex all year long.
Our summer camp includes a morning of tennis, active games, and swimming, followed by lunch. Afternoons feature fun, games, activities, crafts, and more! We also take campers on incredible field trips to their favorite local fun spots.
Our “Mirakids” are important members in our community, and we strive to provide them with opportunities to make friends, learn, and have a lot of fun along the way.

A summer of fun awaits our Mirakids! Registration is now open for Camp Mirasol and our Junior Golf Camp, which will alternate weeks throughout the summer.
At Camp Mirasol, kids will enjoy group stretching and games on the Sports Complex field, along with tennis, swimming, lunch, daily afternoon activities, and fun Friday field trips to destinations like Bowlero, Drive Shack, Urban Air, and more. During Junior Golf Camp, our professionals will guide juniors through technique and etiquette lessons, with time on the practice range, friendly competition, and afternoons that wrap up with lunch and swimming.
Members, be sure to visit our online calendar beginning in June to find our required registration and waiver forms—and get your kids ready for an unforgettable summer right in their own backyard!

Our very first Mirasol ladies’ team, the Bocce Bellas, will compete in a scrimmage match against The Club at Ibis on Friday! Team captain, Michele Fiscella (fifth from the right), has done a great job organizing this fun group of twenty women for weekly practices and scrimmages, and we wish them all the best of luck at Ibis this week.
Members, don’t forget that we host scheduled drop-in play every Thursday at 4 p.m. Come join the action as bocce continues to heat up at Mirasol!

New this season, in collaboration with our Environmental Committee, our Sports Complex team is presenting their Planet Protectors program for our Earth-loving Mirakids!
Join us this Saturday at 2 p.m. for a fun nature scavenger hunt! Past activities have included upcycled arts and crafts, interactive quizzes, indoor gardening, bird spotting, nature bingo, and much more. We’re also keeping a close eye on the plants our young gardeners started during last month’s “Ready, Set, Bloom” activity, pictured here. There’s still room for more plants, and we encourage the kids joining us this weekend to help fill the space!

Summer is the perfect season to try something new at Mirasol - just ask the Babijs, Eastmans, Grandonicos, and Simpsons! We spotted them on the bocce court this week enjoying their very first game. Even better? They wrapped up just in time for Happy Hour!
